DELIVERIES OF DRINKS AND FOOD - We do not accept deliveries from Coffee Shops or outside vendors for students. Students are allowed clear liquids only at school to save our carpets and floors. Our cafeteria serves breakfast and lunch daily or students can bring food from home.
CELL PHONES - Students are not allowed to use their cell phones without permission from school staff. Please help support this expectation by not allowing your student to reach out directly to you as a parent and to instead use the front office phone.

AUG 25 - SCHEDULE PICK UP DAY- Date: Tuesday, August 25th. Please review the following schedule for specifics. To make schedule pick up easier for you, please complete your Annual Student Forms in your PowerSchool parent portal before Friday, August 21st. 6th Grade: Schedule of Events 7:45-8:45 We highly encourage those who can, to join us for our Annual THRIVING 6th grade class in the CJ Library 8:45-10:00 - 6th Grade Schedule Pick up and school tours Location: CJMS at the main entrance During your visit, 6th grade students/parents will have access to tour the school, pick up schedules, and receive locker assignments. Students are welcome to bring items to store in their locker prior to the first day of school. T-shirts can be ordered from PAC https://cjms-parent-advisory-council.square.site 7th & 8th: Time: 10:30 am - 2:00 pm Location: CJMS Cafeteria - enter through the front doors, turn left, and go directly into the cafeteria (on the left). AUG 31 - WELCOME BACK - School starts at 8:20 - Please drop off your students no later than 8:15 to allow them to get to their lockers and in their seats by 8:20. Please do not drop off in the back of the school or in the east parking lot. Use the South entrance and follow the drop off line.
SEPT 7 - NO SCHOOL - LABOR DAY
SEPT 22 - OPEN HOUSE - WATCH FOR INFORMATION TO BE COMING SOON.
SEPT 28 - NO SCHOOL K-12 PIR DAY
OCT 15/16 - NO SCHOOL - ANNUAL MEA CONVENTION FOR TEACHERS
FLOWERS AND BALLOONS - we do not accept deliveries of flowers and balloons for students. There is no where for the students to store them during the day. Please celebrate with your student at home.
SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE - If your student or someone you know is in need of a scholarship for school supplies, field trips, clothing, glasses etc, please email Mrs. Seiger at lynn.seiger@bsd7.org.
